How it works
We want to ensure that your experience with us is as seamless and enjoyable as possible, so we have designed our website to aid in that goal. You can find information about our fabulous campervans on the vehicles section of our website.
We have invested in reservation software so that you have full visibility of what dates are available in the vehicles section of our website. At the time of booking you can choose to pay an initial deposit or the full price of the trip. The balance should be settled in full at least 4 weeks prior to your holiday, you will receive an email with instructions of how to pay the final balance.
Once you have booked your trip you will receive a confirmation email detailing the dates that you have reserved, this will include details of our location which is where your vehicle can be left if you choose to leave it with us. Please note that vehicles are left at the owner’s own risk.
Prior to your holiday you will need to prepare some information so that we can get your insurance set up. We require a copy of your driving licence, current passport and two recent utility bills, which can’t be more than 60 days old. We will need this information at least three days before your trip is due to commence and we’ll also need to see the original documentation in person when you collect the camper. Please note that the name and address need to be exactly the same on all documents for them to pass as proof of address for all drivers. A second person can be insured to drive the camper for an additional £10 a day.
Every driver must provide a DVLA Licence Check Code in advance. This is valid for 3 weeks and can be sourced here: https://www.gov.uk/view-driving-licence
Please note that drivers must have no more than 1 fault or Non fault claim within a 3 year period.
Our insurance provider stipulates that drivers can have up to 6 points on their licence, providing they are only 2 minor offences.
Also, before your trip you will need to send us a £1,000 fully refundable insurance deposit, to cover the insurance excess in case an accident or damage to the camper occurs. If the camper is returned in its original condition and no deductions have to be made, then you will receive your deposit back via bank transfer seven days after the vehicle has been returned.
When you arrive at our address, we’ll take you through the hire contract (also found on our website under Terms and Conditions), once signed we can begin the fun bits!
Now that all the checks are complete we can take you through how to operate the van, we’ll ensure that you have any extras that you have booked and we’ll provide you with your welcome pack and instructional material and videos.
Once you are happy, you’re free to Hit The Road and begin your campervan adventure.
